Why won't my blu-ray or dvd drive not play movies?

I have an ax3200-ef9100a and the blu-ray/dvd drive never seemed to work. Should I just replace it or is there a driver?

DVD drives don't usually have drivers; they're accessed like a disk drive. You might need software to use what's on the DVD once the computer reads it - for movies you'd need Windows Media Player or something like that.

My blu ray drive wont play blu ray movie's can someone help

Besides the Blu-ray drive, you also need a Blu-ray player software to play the Blu-ray disc. You can try Leawo Blu-ray Player which is a free program and a 4K player.

I am not able to play my movies recorded dvd but cd is working well, help me,,

Insert a DVD movie.
Open "My Computer".
Right-mouse click on the icon for your CD/DVD drive, and click "Explore".
If the hardware is working correctly, you should see a list of files & folders.

Search online for the free 'VLC' software for playing DVD-movies. Download it, and install it, to "play" your DVD-movie.

Will not play Blue Ray DVD

I had the same problem. Try this. Contact Sharp and have them email you the firmware update. You will need to download it from the email and transfer it to the player via a flash drive. See if that works. I am about to return my Sharp Blu Ray player to Costco and go back to DVD. There seem to be a lot of problems with the technology. Even when movies start to play, they have freezes and it is sometimes hard to get the menu to show up
