Engraving tool is perfect for pulverizing caked salt - then vac it
Depends what the salt is on, you could damage the surface.
Testimonial: "We're talking about auto Cate, not matts, that are caked with salt deposits. The vibrating action of the bit is great to pulverize the salt which is then picked up by a nearby vacuum. No harm from water or chemicals. All gain to the fabric. Any hardy vibrating tool with a pointy head will do."
It's not the end of the world if you
have to use salted butter in your cookies. It's just better not to as then you
can control the amount of salt in the recipe. If you do need to use salted
butter just make sure that you leave out any extra salt the recipe calls
for(watch out for salted nuts too).
Try this recipe. It's a very simple
cake but has a yummy frosting that my kids love.
