Cannot Disable Spanish Subtitles on ABC

Every day during prime-time on ABC there are spanish subtitles that alternate between the bottom and top of the screen and get in the way of the show. I have U-verse and a Sony LCD flatscreen and can't disable them and they are really becoming a nuisance.

- Yes, they stay on the channel, persistent and annoying as ever.

- I tried it and it did nothing, I think it must be the channel. Thanks anyway.

Yes. Try it...it would put the TV back to default factory settings.

Did you try leaving the TV unplugged for a few minutes to reset it?

Did you try going thru the menu on your TV to disable subtitles?
