Hello, sounds like you have a bad pressure switch, if you access the control panel you will find a switch that has a plastic straw like tube attached, this switch stops the tub over filling. If you need any further instruction installing the new part or any questions please feel free to leave a new comment. Good Luck

As a footnote, before replacing the switch blow down the tube, if you feel some resistance there may have been some lint blocking the tube...reconnect and try again. It is possible the inlet valve got stuck open..this can be tested by unplugging the machine while it is filling...if water stops it's the pressure switch...if water keeps running valve is stuck open replace valve :)

Won't stop filling with water, seems to fill to top and keep filling

there is a water connector that the water lines from the house connect to the washer. you will need to take the panel off. you should see a blue plastic box where the hoses connect. you will need to replace this piece. it should have wires on it and that tells the washer when to open the valve for water to come through and when to stop.

My GE washer wont stop filling in any cycle. Even if you pull out the plug. Leaks everywhere. I blew into water level switch hose and it clicks. Model number WBXR1060T. Thank you

If water continues to fill and you have unplugged the washer from the wall then your fill valve is stuck open and needs to be replaced. Turning off the water at the wall faucet should stop the water. The fill valve is what the hoses are attached to at the washer.

GE adora WHDRE526EWW when started it begins to fill then stops filling and have to restart sometimes three to four times help!!!.

I wish I had a solution, I have the same issue. My WHDRE526EWW Top Load washer stops intermittently sometimes while filling up, sometimes while rinsing, sometimes while washing and sometimes while spinning. I just have to guess when it's going to stop and check on each load frequently to restart it when it stops. Sometimes I can't even get it to start spinning again and I will have to unplug it and plug it back in and then it will spin. Hope someone can help!

Top loading GE color profile washer (wpse4200a) won't fill

You may have a water supply problem. There is a mesh screen in the hoses where they hook to the washer. Make sure they aren't clogged up
