Question about Euro-Pro Shark SC-505 Handheld Steam Vacuum

SC505H Portable Steamer with broken hose in the handle

I have a Shark SC505H Portable Steamer that steam comes out around the "trigger" when depressed. I disassembled to see why the hose as plugged, and found the hose out of the on/ off valve was split. Anyone know of a high temp rubber hose material for repair. I think it is 1/8 ID and 1/4 OD. Called Euro Pro and 1 they didn't even see a problem with a potential hand burn issue, 2 they charge for all out of warranty repairs even when product is defective (was only used 1 or 2 times previously) They don't sell parts for these. I think they put more money into advertising than in product materials based on several on line problems

My shark steamer is foaming and no steam is coming out

You cant put soap in the steamers, only water. Clean out water container and start new. Also, clean hole where steam comes out with something thin. Make sure it is heating up enough to produce steam, otherwise heat assembly is broken.

Tons of water on the floor might mean that an internal hose or hose clamp has failed. Once you have it apart you can assess and replace the hoses by taking the bad hose to the auto parts store and asking for an appropriate sized replacement.

How much water should I put in Eureka model 300 steamer

Use 12 ounces of water.
It's best not to use extremely hard water in the Eureka steamer due to mineral deposits it may leave behind.
If you need cloths for your Eureka 300 or 310/311/313A see my listings on eBay by searching "eureka steamer."
This is a great floor cleaning machine. I have several for use on large areas of linoleum and sealed hardwood in our home.

Euro-pro Shark steam mop has a broken handle.

I have broken 4 shark handles, have repaired them its a pain. remove the screws on the handle end of the head pop out the broken handle part, drill a 3/16 hole into the part tap 1/4 inch threads use a countersunk head 1/4 inch bolt screw it together put epoxy on the inside to lock threads reassemble. its a pain. two small keepers lock the swivel together pry out with a screwdriver carefully dont loose them. I broke one shark handle when it was brand new. this repair works good if you like alot of fooling around

This is a EURO-PRO X Shark Steamer Model S3325, there doesn't seem to be any power in plugged in, no lights on the handle. Bad switch or is there a fuse?

There is usually a heat sensitive fuse link installed in the handle and is incorporated in the cord connection. If the machine gets too hot or is run while dry, the fuse can blow. You would have to replace the fuse, as they are not resetable.

No steam coming out

The fall might have damaged or moved the trigger so that it does not depress the valve on boiler.
Try removing the screws which hold the handle together. The cap needs to be removed to allow the handle to separate.
Once the handle is apart check the trigger piece looking for any broken parts.
