if no any power indicator that light or even blinking, the first place to be check will be the power supply section you must check weather the fuse is blown.if the fuse is blown before you replaced with new one you need to check other component in the power supply section like transistor and diode. so this case need proper trouble shooting, if you think you don't have enough idea in any electronic repair just leave it to the trained tv technician.
Hi, As you mentioned the tv have problem with the power supply stage. Before suspecting for any intenal fault Chcek the following first. Remove the AC plug of the tv and connect the same in any other wall outlet. If then also it shows the same problem then its the powersupply board of your tv. working on power supply board should be done by a skilled worker. Because there is risk of electric shock even if the power is disconnected. some of the capacitors will hold charge even if the power is not connected.

The tv have a problems in it power supply board,that the board where the tv power a/c cord plug into it.Tries websites like Shopjimmy.com,Ebay.com to buy a whole refurbish tv power supply board for the replacement.Power supply board have some bad high voltages transformers.That why ur tv even getting a high pitched sound even the tv it is off and tv it is not even on,and tv it is on standby mode only.
hi; do check the AC cord if still good. if your LCD TV wont start , even if you press the power button ,
it has a power supply failure, maybe some capacitor has bloated or changed value,

1000s of volts inside the TV that can kill. Even if you unplug the TV the high voltage can be stored inside the TV for days.
Sounds power supply board is bad in your TV and most probably replacement of all electrolytic capacitors in power supply board will solve the issue. Take TV to local TV repair shop for repair. Thanks.
This TV might have been affected by the power outage even if it was not ON at that moment. There is a standby voltage still present even when OFF and connected to the AC line.
There might be different failures on this TV:
1. The power supply might be defective after the power outage.
2. The main board could also be defective since the power supplies for today's TVs are not well regulated and once the voltage getting to the power supply increases, the standby voltage voltage will also increase damaging voltage sensitive components like the microprocessor or memory circuitry.
