Question about Samsung HP-R4272 42 in. Plasma HDTV

Turn on samsung 42 inch plasma, the blue light comes on at the front but nothing else. no pitcher, on sound, checked cables and they seem to be good. can anyone help?

Yes, I have a solution. Its spelled 'picture,' not 'pitcher.' Hopefully that helps.

Sound on means audio section is ok. No picture is video board problem. Pl check input cables. Or give Hdmi cable input. Disconnect all inputs switch on u should get plain raster that is only dots on screen, or blue back screen, if nothing contact authorised dealer,

42 inch samsung plasma comes on then picture go's out turn off and back on the picture comes back on and go back out after 30 min

Sounds like there may be a connection issue, check to make sure that ALL cables are connected properly. They could have come loose.

Samsung HDMI issue


Have you try to replace your HDMI cable?I recommend you to pick up a good Monster HD700 HDMI cable from a local retail store like best buy or circuit city.In case it isn't the cable problem,you could return it.
However,when you are a using the HDMI cable,it is normally either have both picture and sound or nothing at all.Are you sure you didn't hook up the audio OUTPUT from your TV back to a receiver input?
Or even an optical output from the TV to the receiver?

there is no upgrade to fix this problem, you need to adjust the VS-voltages and the V-scan voltages
