Might need a little more information, but here goes. If the fan won't turn at all, you need to oil it, if you can spin the fan and then it slowly beguns to run ful speed, replace the run capacitor.

I replaced the fuses with the proper ones thinking that that was why fan on ac unit was not on. I did the 24 hour off on electrical panel, and replaced fuses, now i hear a click then a humming sound coming...

The humm you hear is the compressor. Turn your unit on and let it run for a couple minutes and grab the large pipe at the outdoor unit. If it's cold, your compressor is running. If your fan didn't turn on, there is a good chance your motor is fried. It could be your contactor, but I doubt it. The compressor and fan are wired through the same contactor, so when one comes on, so does the other. DO NOT run your unit for more than a minute or two with the outdoor fan not running. If you continue to run it, it's going to go out on high pressure and turn back on, and so on, and so on, until it fries the compressor.

Fan runs but compressor just humms and wont kick on

Check electrical connections including the contactor. Also test the capacitor. If the capacitor fails, it will prevent the compressor from starting. Click HERE to see images of what the capacitor looks like.

Turn switch on to fan or air and motor just humms but will not start

The fan motor uses a capacitor to turn the motor and if the capacitor is bad the fan won't rotate. If you are handy you could remove the electrical panel and change the capacitor and it will work fine again.I have tested these fans by simply turning the unit on and spinning the fan blade by hand!!! if the fan operates then the capacitor is bad!!

Did you change the capacitor on the fan motor. Could be bad if not bad fan motor. But sounds like a cap. Russ
