Red operation light means what on Model ASU9RMLQ & ASU12RMLQ?

Unit will not cool the room. Batteries changed. The red light stays on for operation, is that correct? The filters are clean/

The lights on the front panel indicate fault codes dependent on the amount & intervals of the flashes. Fujitsu units carry a 5 year warranty so check with your local Fujitsu store for the agent in your area.

It's actually error code E-2
E-=2...... (Thermostate sensor)This error means that theunit has gone into a protection mode.
Coil sensor defective. Replace it.

SOURCE: Fujitsu. Wall mount AC inverter. Operation ,timer,and economy lights all blink, I clean the filters but no change , unit is only 3 months old..

Your AC unit should be still covered by warranty, get the installer to check you AC unit.

I borrowed a portable a/c unit Comfort -Aire model number PD121-5 cant get it 2 stay on cool it has timer & changes temp all the time. can anyone tell me how to reset this thing? No remote
some ac units portable or other wise use a program where it starts on full cool and as the humidity is removed from the room the program changes to less cool or switches off for periods ( called comfort mode on some units and is used for sleeping where the room temp is maintained and does't get colder as the night goes on)

I have reviewed the on-line installation information for the DL2700 and I do not see your particular scenario listed (red LED staying on). Here is the website link:

We have the white and rodgers thermostat model 1F81-261. The problem is that the ac unit will not work. We have reset and changed the batteries and set the point 4 degrees less than the actual room...
Set System Switch to Cool and lower setpoint below room temperature.
Verify thermostat and system wires are securely attached.
Diagonistic: Set System Switch to Cool and lower the setpoint below the room temperature. Within a few seconds the thermostat should make a soft click sound. This sound usually indicates the thermostat is operating properly. If the thermostat does not click, try the reset operation ( . If the thermostat does not click after being reset contact your heating and cooling service person or place of purchase for a replacement. If the thermostat clicks, contact the furnace manufacturer or a service person to verify the heating system is operating correctly.

Reset the thermostat by pressing , UP,DOWN and TIME at the same time.
