Re: My phone won't switch on!

Try taking the battery off. Leave it for a few minutes, then try turning it back on.

Lock button not working

Try pushing the home button. This is a temporary solution, but should work. After that, have your phone serviced by samsung's authorized service center. Provided that your warranty's still valid, they'll do it for free.

Mostly the problem is with the switch inside the phone, which you couldn't replace yourself.

My LG 4G LTE won't turn on even though it has been charging for hours.

do you have a universal travel charger? and use it to charge your battery for about 4 hours. or buy a new battery. If it is not ok, your phone is in short-circuit. go to service center

My Nokia 7100 Supernova won't turn on. Pressing the power button results in a little lighting up of the screen but nothing else happens. I have charged it and changed the battery repeatedly but nothing...

This simply means that the operating System of your phone is not loading up or not booting, the solution to fix this is through flashing or reprogramming the cellphone, you have to take it to a nokia service center or a quality mobile servicing store.

How to format my samsung d600

remove the battery and replace it after a minute.
the phone should do a full boot.
see if it works after.
if nothing happens, you may just have to replace the battery.
You don;t want to format anything unless you know how to reflash the phone.

MicroSD killed

Here is the only way that I have managed to get my Toshiba 1GB card to work with a D900 pretty much all the time. If this doesn't work, please don't hunt me down! but its been doing me fine (repair guy)and saved me from wanting to "hurt" Samsung for being so very unhelpful (ish). Anyway..... I switched the phone to Mass Storage (Settings - Phone Settings - USB Settings). I then removed the card, and then re-inserted it - but then immediately hit my camera button twice to take a picture. The phone says that the card is inserted and when I go into it it can be accessed. This fixes the problem about 95% of the time I have tried it. I am an IT Technician and I am fully aware that none of this makes sense but I had to post it so people can try because I don't believe that being told to go and buy a Sandisk card is very helpful. And with all the fake ones floating on Ebay you could get even more screwed. good luck!!!!!!!!!!!!

Phone wont turn on

Bring your phone to a technician to replace your power switch. I think that's the only problem... Good luck... ^_^
