I have a craftsman zts 7500 zero turning radius 26 hp with a pull knob over elec.To turn on the blades.It also has an elec.raised deck.When I pull the knob to turn on the blades the engine dies.And when I pull the handles together to move the mower the engine dies.

I going to assume that yr tractor does have the hydrolic p.t.o. that controls the drive and cutting mechanism's???... if so you might start with checking the hydrolic fluid in the resevior. or you might check into replacing the hydrolic p.t.o. pump , if you ran the tractor in heavy work without any hydrolic fluid in the p.t.o. pump the pump is probably burnt up. if so im sure you can beat the cost of a new pump by rebuilding it yrself with a kit.
