Hi, I have a model 358.791072 weedwacker that dies after about 1 mins of use when I give it gas. I replaced the spark plug, clean the carburetor and the fuel filter. It's still died after short time. How...

The machine is either dying "rich" or dying "lean." A carb adjustment could remedy either scenario. A better fix is to remove and disassemble the carb and install a low cost gasket and diaphragm. If you install that kit, and adjust the carburetor properly, the dying should cease.

I have a makita jn1601 nibbler and I'm trying to change the punch. How do I do this?

Removing or installing the punch and die

Always replace the punch and die as a set.

To remove the punch and die, loosen the lock nut with the wrench.

Remove the die holder from the tool.

Use the hex wrench to loosen the bolts which secure the die. Remove the die

from the die holder.

Use the hex wrench to loosen the screw which secures

the punch.

Pull the punch out of the punch holder.

To install the punch and die, insert the punch into the

punch holder so that the notch in the punch faces toward

the screw.

Tighten the screw to secure the punch.

Install the die on the die holder.

Tighten the bolts to secure the die.

Then install the die holder on the tool so that the punch is

inserted through the hole in the die holder.

Tighten the lock nut to secure the die holder.

After replacing the punch and die, lubricate them with machine oil and run
tool as needed

Dash lights come on..mph gauge went down..radio cut out..loss of power in engine..kills batterie. While running, removed pos. batt. cable and engine died. Altenator problem??

You need to replace the Alternator. The vehicle died because you removed the power supply to all the accessories, if you remove the Negative cable and it dies then you know for sure it is the alternator. that is an old shade tree way to test the alternator.

1990 ford tempo starts but will die after about 10 minutes. the power from the battery is drained and we just bought a brand new battery for it.

Try to start again, then when the engine is start, remove the negative or positive battery cable, and if the engine die, the alternator is failed., and if not dying, alternator still good. But for me the way you said, I'm 100% your alternator is died. Need to replace a new one. And if you know how to solder, just remove and replace the brusses( carbon) by soldering. ok

My 1994 buick regal will die with no regularity. when I boost it and remove any of the jumper cables it will die. Mechanic says alternator, battery and starter are good and the crank sensor is bad--what...

Odds are very good if once you remove the jumper cables it dies that it is the alternator. Once running, the car runs directly off the alternator so if it's quitting, it's a sign the alternator isn't puttling out enough amperage.

Motor Speed Question

The RPM rating of the die grinder is the deciding factor in the tool’s usage. A die grinder with a lower RPM is best used for fine grinding and finishing work. Speeds lower than 10,000 RPM are best for this function. A die grinder with an RPM between 10,000 and 20,000 is great for creating rough finishes and minor buffing jobs. If the die grinder will be used to remove metal burrs or to cut metal, it must have an RPM rating of over 20,000 and a no-load speed of at least 30,000 depending on the RPM rating.
