My ge monogram zdll5c automatic icemaker is not making ice. The motor is running.
Have you checked to assure the long narrow hose that comes from the upper lback left corner is attached both on top and inside the water tray? This drove me nuts for 3 hours.
Dan
Water is being pumped to the freeze plate and it runs over the plate, but it never produces ice after approximately 5 hours of running. The Control Panel was getting so hot after running that long, that I shut it down again. The coils appear to be cooling. I have the unit opened up and I can feel cool air blowing from the unit.

Our ice maching has worked fine for the last 7 years and is now not making ice. I cleaned all part inside and ran the clean cycle twice with the nickle cleaner. What I noticed is that there is not enough water coming down the freeze plate. The water fills the resevoir but it doesn't pump up to the freeze plate. I called a repair company and believe it to be the cirulating pump and am going to replace it myself. If is works - I will post an update.
Unfortunately, this has been a regular problem with mine for 6 years. It started within the first week of installation. I suggest calling GE and keeping track of when you called, who you spoke to, etc. Every single part has been replaced at lest once and I am still without reliable ice. I have been asking or a replacement since day one. GE is not good on the customer service end of things.

we have cleaned the condenser and have ran it through the cleaning cycle. I can see ice being formed in the back, but not in a sheet. It seems it doesn't get cold enough to make a full sheet. The ice will not proseed to the cutter. My model number is zdis15.
Thank you,
Cindy
Monogram Model ZDI15. Not making ice. Almost sounds as though in a continuous cleaning cycle. Large clump of ice forming at the rear and under the freezing tray. Sheets not being formed to fall onto cutter grid.
Same problem. Water is in the tray but not making ice.

My ice slowly began to dwindle until there wasn't anymore. I turned the machine off and then ran the clean cycle per the instructions. I have let it run for about 4 hours now and no ice. When I inspected inside the machine, where the ice drops through the wires, there appeared to be a thin sheet of ice melting away on top of the wire... no cubes in the basin.
We're having the exact same problem. Thin sheet of ice barely sits on rack and melts on it's own, but not in cubes. Just drips down and melts the only few cubes in the bin. This is our second and LAST GE model appliance. We've lived in our home for 3 1/2 years and have replaced a Monogram refrigerator, dishwasher and now icemaker.
Where is the Mod# on 15" GE ice machine. It needs a control board and I need the # to get it. I believe it can no longer be read. So without how can I get the right board
Need to know how to replace a leaking water intake valve from ge ice maker
