Re: help

Normal 0 Try disconnecting the Camera from the USB port and reinstall the software program. When the program asks you to connect the camera to the USB port, do so and it should work.
Hope this helps. Bud

Lost my webcam from presario laptop what do i download to get it back & where do I go to get it to work again, I do not want to pay for a site just get the use of my webcam back. Thank you

Is your webcam working before? Or it just stop working now? Usually, the only solution for your problem is to install the driver for your webcam. You can get that driver from the CD that comes when you bought your laptop. If you can't find it, you can download that online.

Hope it helps.

On my emachines laptop it says that i have no camera available even though i have a built in webcam. what do i do

Try reinstalling the drivers for the built in webcam. That may work to make your laptop recognize your laptop again.

I hope this helps.

Can't make webcam work on Acer Travelmate 4500

This sounds like a USB issue. Not all USB ports on laptops are created equal (they should be but they are not) some usb ports supply enough voltage and current to run usb items properly and some dont. It is always better to run direct from the computer / laptops ports .

If you cant do this then use a HUB but make sure the HUB HAS IT"S OWN POWER SUPPLY !

Also make sure you always use the same port and swapping them around does not always work for all hardware.

Can't connect with a new laptop running vista, yet XP on other computers works fine?

I have an even stranger problem. Two identical laptops running Vista Basic. One installs complete and everything works. The other installs but the webcam won't work.
