When the two wires touched the short overheated and blew the output transistor or transistors. The unit needs to be repaired or replaced. It only takes a momentary touch of the wires to blow the output transistor. It is not a fault of your particular amp. It is common to all Solid State amps. Tube amps that have output transformers are not susceptible to this problem. Always shut off the amp when connecting or disconnecting the wires.

No power fuse blew

it means you have shorted regulator transistor on power supply..

It is usually fit in heat sink..

Try to replace it and the fuse again also check any fusible resistor near that transistor..

Pioneer m-770 will not turn on

you probably have a short in the circuit some where. you need to replace the transistor and look at all the solder joints to make sure there not damaged or cracked. i have the same amplifier and i replaced the fuse several times and it blew every time up until the last time when the 4 of the power output transistors blew. what ever you do do not try and power it on till you do all the things i told you or you will have sparks and fire. my mistake cost me my amplifier. but might help you get yours repaired
