It sounds like the AC system is low on refrigerant. Auto parts stores carry refrigerant kits to re charge the AC system, or you can take the vehicle to a repair shop that works on AC systems.

How to troubleshoot ac compressor on 2004 dodge 1500 ram pickup

It is low on freon If it is cycling on and off the low pressure switch is causing the cycling. you probably have a small leak. put a can of freon with leak detector in it to help find the leak.

My 97 dodge ram 1500 V8 magnum has a wire on the left side of the power distribution center that I don't know where it goes

that is the power wire comes from battery to the box through the fuse then powers all the fuses and relays in that distribution box. if your talking about the wire connector with no wire in it. that is an aux power source to run anything needing 12volts like a salter or snow plow.

Need to change?? how do I change the bearings and clutch on ac compressor for the 1997 dodge ram 1500 - it has a v8 magnum engine

You need a special puller / installer to remove the clutch on the a/c compressor.... It may be cheaper to pick up a used compressor and swap it out.. You can obtain the re-fill charge cans at most auto part stores and fill it your self.

With ac running cold, blows warm when truck is stopped

I have a dodge 2007 ram 1500...most likely its an RPM issue. The compressor requires a certain RPM to maintain the required pressurized vapor.

Air conditioning not blowing cool air

To get the refrigerant in you have to have a technician purge the system first. Hope that helps.
