Make sure you have a strong water supply going into it. On the two I have owned, they would struggle and the motor would "rev up" quite a bit if there was even a slight kink in the supply hose, or if the tap wasn't opened all the way.

Some taps are designed to release excess pressure but it could just be a dodgy tap washer that leaks when the pressure of hot water in pipe work builds. Change the tap washer in your tap, see if it fixes it, if not it's just the design.

Washing machine displays FH fault and water tap closed light comes on,water taps are both on and working correctly.

? If there is no water in the unit: —Make sure that both valves at the water source(s) are turned on all the way. —Check for plugged or kinked inlet hoses or plugged screens in the inlet valves. —Verify inlet valve operation. ? If there is water in the unit: —Verify drain pump operation. —Verify that the pressure switch hose is in good condition and properly connected to tub and pressure switch. 1. Verify there is not a siphon problem. 2. Unplug washer or disconnect power. 3. Verify wire harness connections to inlet valves, pressure switch, drain pump, flow meter, and Central Control Unit (CCU). 4. Check all hoses for possible leaks. 5. Plug in washer or reconnect power 6. Verify pressure switch operation. 7. Verify flow meter operation by blowing air through the part and measuring the resistance. 8. Verify CCU operation by running a Diagnostic test or any cycle.

Karcher K2.36 Pressure Washer I've just fired up my Karcher for the first time since last year and the motor started running fine, I then switched on the tap to allow the water through and the motor cut...

The water must be switched on, and seen to be running freely from the nozzle for a few seconds before switching on the power - suggest you check the fuse in the plug, and then try the above.

I get a check water tap error 2 to 4 times a load

I have this problem. This code is due to restriction of water flow. In my case, we have sand in our water, and I have installed a filter between the water line and the washer. When it gets clogged, the flow is restricted and the Check Water Tap message appears. Your washer has filters on the back of the washer itself that may be clogged and need cleaning (which is why I installed the water filter between the washer & water line to prevent it from getting into the washer filter). Your washer manual shows you how to check/clean them. Also, you may have low water pressure during summer months due to lawn watering in your area that could cause this lower water pressure.

How do i know if my outside tap has a non - return valve i want to start using a pressure washer

Dear del_brenda_s,
I have been servicing Power Washers for the last 5 years. And I cannot understand why you need a non-return tap outside. I think "outside" you are refering to the main supply after the water meter.
Well if your power washer needs a non-return, you can fit a cheap garden hose non- return attachment.
Regarding the non-return at the outside tap,..this is most probably NON-RETURN. If you want to be sure you can contact the water works division of your country and city...and I am sure they know what sort of taps should be used. In my country it is a must that a non-return outside tap is used. This is important so that when there is a cut in the water supply, the water meter and the whole system will not have to be bled out of air when the water comes again.
Regards,
Fulltech.

WFS1071AW is my type of whirlpool front loader

Hello baud Welcome,
You said the water entry into the machine is fine with nothing blocking it. But you keep getting the red light on for "water tap closed". At one point the water did start flowing in but soon stopped and turn on the warning light again. Please suggest how to fix it??

I believe this sounds like the screens are dirty and stopping water flow so it shuts down!
Dry all of the below suggestions.

Washer displaying code message and or tone sounds
“F20” (Water Inlet Problem—no water or insufficient
water supply)
First:
Select PAUSE/CANCEL twice to cancel the cycle. Unplug
washer or disconnect power.Leave power off for 5 minutes. This will reset the system!
Check the following:
Are water faucets completely turned on?
*****Are screens at inlet hose connection to washer clogged?
Remove hose from washer an clean screens at water inlet!

Are water inlet hoses kinked?
Are water inlet hoses frozen?
Plug in washer or reconnect power. Re-select cycle and press
START. If the problem remains, call for service.

Let me know how you do.
Thank You Huuum

Error code E10 on the electrolux ecovalve EWF1087 front load washer. What does this mean?

E10 is a timeout code. I found the answer on google by refining my search criteria. The tap was not turned on enough for the washer to fill up in time before the timeout was reached. After restarting the washer and turning the tap on further, the washer cycle completed without error.
