My printer will not work, What should I do to make
My printer will not print off what i am trying to print. What should I do to make it print off exactly what i am trying to print? It keeps printing one line of small size symbols and letters. It is really wasting my ink and i would like to fix the problem immediately.

If you can, use the HP toolbox to print a test page and see if you recognize the output as the same as you are seeing, and confirm that the printer is correctly communicating with your computer.
If you are using a parrallel port cable, please work through this document.
If that doesn't work, try resetting the printer, according to these instructions.
Sometimes these issues are caused by driver conflicts. Run windows update and see if your system is offered any optional updates for your hardware or printer drivers. To manually update or reinstall the drivers, see here.

I am assuming you are trying to print from a computer, not a photo memory card (SD Card).
Try the following things:
- get the manual and install CD if you have it
- use the manual or the menu on the printer to print a test page (if that works then it is probably not the printer)
- make sure the USB-B cable is connected
- Start the Print Manager software on your computer (install it from the CD if it is not installed already, download the drivers from on-line if you do not have the CD)
- Use the Print Manager to print a test page (If this works, then we know the cable works)
- in Control Panel under Printers select the Epson Stylus as the DEFAULT PRINTER
- from the application (MS Word, Photoshop, etc.) try printing and verify that the Epson is the selected printer
If this does not work please provide further details about what hardware and applications you are using and what you are trying to print.
Try pressing cancel on the printer first. Then, open the print queue by opening the printers folder, and double-clicking the printer icon for your printer. Try to select the jobs there and cancel them. If that doesn't work, turn off the printer, and wait for the title bar of the print queue to say "use printer offline". If it doesn't change on the title bar of the queue, then select "use printer offline" from the file menu of the print queue. Then try to delete the print job. If this still doesn't work, leave the printer off and reboot the computer, then try to delete the print job again if it is still in the queue. If none of these work, remove and then reinstall the printer as a last resort.
The problem with dot matrix printers is that these are very old printers and you may not find a printer driver for them that run with Vista. If the incorrect printer driver is installed, the printer will print rubbish.
The only suggestion I can offer is to try various generic printer drivers until you find one that works. Connect it to the LPT1 printer port first and when you get it to work then set it up on the print server.
Also try Panasonic support and ask if they have a printer driver for this model printer that works with Vista.
try to make a copy ...if success
try to disconnect the power cable from the back of the printer and reconnect it after 20 seconds
try to print from the notepad ...............if success great
uninstall the printer from the computer and reinstall the printer as a fresh
it should work and it has worked in most of the issues ................. thank you
Turn off your printer and completely unplug the USB cable (from both the printer and the computer). Next check if the stopped document or the later documents are in the print spooler queue. If you can cancel all documents from the queue, do so. Otherwise: from Start Run (or the command prompt) type: net stop spooler [enter] then type: net start spooler [enter]
This works in XP and older MS Operating Systems but I've never tried it in Vista.
If you only enter the first command, you need to reboot the computer and then take a long coffee break after logging in before trying to print again.
