Question about Clarion VRX485VD Car DVD Player
I bought a car and it had a clarion vrx486vd head deck, it came with no remote, but my friend who had the same head deck gave me his remote, I want to know how I can sync it with my head deck.

You need a composite video cable to the Clarion Video input. The usual ipod adapter is for audio only. If you have an AV ipod adapter and you still don't have video, the signal is not strong enough for the clarion to see it and you need a 12volt pre amp. you can find them online starting around 25. Hope this helps

you have to use nero vision ive got the 766vd and the same happens to me if u use nero vision it will work every time especially if its video clips
