SOURCE: my trutech tt320 dvd player
I had the same problem. I took it apart and found a blown capacitor on the power board. It was a 10v 1000Uf high temp. capacitor. I replaced it with a new one and the dvd player worked fine. The capacitor can be ordered for a couple bucks and replace easily if you know how to solder.

perhaps everyone passed it as no model number is listed--try to Google the model number for the information you want like "manual"
