Question about Televison & Video
All wires have been pulled out of the 4 pole plug and pin on plug has been bent. have new plug but cant figure out what colour wire goes where onto plug.

Viewing the male connector (on the keyboard or mouse cable), the pinout is:
In both cases, the pins are normally used as follows:
1 data (yellow)
3 gnd (blk)
4 +5v (red)
try to interchange wire from pin 1 and pin 5 if doesn't work.

SOURCE: Wrong disc
Laser lens may be dirty, try gently cleaning it with a cotton bud with a tiny drip of vodka on the end, i mean the tiniest bit. The lens is the small round, domed clear plastic thing in the player under the lid...if it is top loading. Are playing retail DVD's or any sort of disc you have created on a PC. A lot of players dont like RW-DVD disc's.
