Sometimes these can be reset by gently taping them on the floor. Can be caused by not changing your furnace filter.

No heat, one flash says limit circuit open on my furnace

If your limit circuit open it is an indication of either a power surge opening the circuit OR that your furnance has another problem and the limiter opened because of it. You can buy and replace the limit circuit, but if it opens right away, you will need to go further into your furnace.

Trane Furnace Model #TUX080C942D Flashing Code #4, Open High Heating Device

Hello, a limit switch is there to protect the furnaace from overheating. most cuases are either dirt or the blower motor not running up to speed, anything that cuts down on the airflow will cause the high limt switch to open. Check filter, blower wheel for dirt, and make sure the blower motor is running properly and not dragging.

I have a trane xb80 furnace and the red light flashes 5 times what is the problem?

On the back of the door panel or in the manual if you have one, the codes for the flashing lights should be there.5 flashes should be a code for one of the limit switches being tripped.I assume your furnace isn't running. I do not Know what 5 flashes is on a trane unit, but if you find the code chart, should be inside the door panel and replie I can help you. Doug

Your induce fan motor senor is out. The little fan motor that take out the heat has a sensor that tells the furnace thats its working. Some time it get stuck. Try blowing and sucking into the tube. you should hear a click

No heating, cooling or fan.

I'm confused. You have a Trane, but are asking about the Goodman warranty. I missed something there I'm sure, sorry.

"IF" Trane has a recall or warranty issue, then any qualified technician should be able to help you with that. The parts would be provided by trane in such an event, but unless the unit is less than 1 year old, chances are you will have to pay for the labor.

Being an electricain help if you want us to assist you in troubleshooting.

This link takes you to the TRANE contact page. They can answer any warranty/recall questions you have.
