If your Sitting on your bike. Its on the right side. The (silver) panel that is covering or surrounding the pillions footrest. Unscrew 3 small screws and one large one behind the pillions foot rest. Remove panel. Look into and downwards, you will see the wire that is connected to the spark plug. I just changed my plug today :) Hope this helps.

4 cylinder/6 cylinder motor--gap is .044.
But depending on replacement choice of spark plug, the gap should not be adjusted for some choices.

hi, in the american database for alldata, there is no lancer in 1990, if your engine is dohc, or sohc though, i checked 2.0 and 1.8, both are 1.0mm - 1.1mm gap. shouldn't be any problem running at these gaps, most every mitsubishi engine runs at this spark plug gap.
