Soleus dual mini split KFMHP18 fault error F1

F1 error code is a communication failure between the outdoor and indoor units. Check all inter-connecting wires. They should be minimum 14g stranded wire. Make sure all electrical connections are tight. These units are manufactured by CHIGO, you may try to contact them.

Fan speed control on 2 way circuit

1) Guessing you have 3-way switch where 2 different switches control same Load (light, fan, motor). Unknown wiring, and unknown if fan and light are wired separately.

2) Google search for 3-way fan switch shows Leviton IPF05 with simple straight-forward wiring. Link below has instruction manual, and Live chat button located to right of LEVITON
http://www.leviton.com/OA_HTML/ProductDetail.jsp?partnumber=IPF05-1LX&section=47082&minisite=10251

3) It appears that the Leviton device must replace Line side switch.

4) Uncertain if this device also controls fan since the wiring is so simple.

I am replacing a single pole light switch. The original one is older and had a black and a white wire screwed into the side and a black and red wire poked into the back. Where do these wires go in a new...

Most single pole light switches that you buy now days have a quick connect feature. The wire is shoved into the back hole after skinning and the gripper teeth keep it from coming loose. This was to make the wiring job faster for the electrician. It also has side screws so that you can run multiple wires if you need to. I suspect that your new switch is just side screws (which you can buy). I do not know why you have a red wire as that normally is used in a three way switch. Are you sure that you don't have a three way switch, that is you can turn the light on or off at two locations. Check out

I know the circuit diagram but how do you

If the power originates at the location of the light (or other item being switched) you need a 3-core cable from there to to each switch location.
If the power originates at one of the switch locations you need a 2-core cable from there to the fixture and a 3-core cable to the other switch location. (If the cable to the second switch location is routed through the junction box at the fixture then you only need 4 cores from the first switch to the junction box--three switch wires and the neutral wire for the fixture.)
In all cases described above the ground (earth) wire is separate and not included in the count.

These wires vary based on the type of the board each wire lead is labeled to coorespond with the pins on the board. You need to reference the manual for your specific motherboard. If you don't have the original get it from the vendor support site or just google it. Unless your motherboard is an odd brand it should be easy to find.

Where to connect the black and white wires from the lcd screen t

the black and white wires are most likely the antenna for the wireless networking card. When you locate the card you will see two small round plugs. Don't think it matters which one goes where.

I really hope this link helps. Like i said i'm pretty sure these are the wires for your wireless antenna.
