If your still on antennae, you need to get a digital box as most TV stations have gone to a digital signal.

GIve comcast a call, they should be able to tell you what you have & or what you need. Different areas have different packages available, but a quick call to explain to them should get you on the right track.

What's your question?my tv does not display but it change the channel so please help me.

So the audio works? From your question that would appear to be the only way to know that it is changing channels. Have you tried a different input like a videogame console or DVD. Depending on how your TV is connected it could be as simple as a loose video cable or even a problem with your cable provider.

Make sure your cable/antennae connection is OK and you're getting signal from over there by connecting another (working) tv set to it.

I have had a Sharp AQUOS LC-46PD7X for over three years and just a couple of days ago I started getting a problem where I turn the TV on and it either displays a digital channel for a couple of minutes and...

Hi ibrahl,

I too have the same model and vintage and have been experiencing low signal problems for quiet some time now. It only became apparent when we hooked up the ps3 playTV unit and the digital channels we were having problems with on the Aquos was broadcasting fine. Both devices use the same antenna connection so its not an aerial issue.
I tried reset back to factory settings and reloaded the channels via auto but now those digital channels I had problems no longer appear on our channel list so they're gone for now. I was wondering the same thing about firmware updates but havent found anything on the Sharp website. Found this video but this model uses USB for updates">

Samsung le26r74bd won't retune digital channels

Updating the Channel List Automatically You can update the channel list when the broadcaster adds new Services or if you move the TV to a new location.

1. Press the MENU button to display the menu. Press the ▲ or ▼ button to select "Digital Menu", then press the ENTER button.

2. Press the ▲ or ▼ button to select "Channel", then press the ENTER button.

3. Press the ENTER button again, to select "Country".

4. Select the appropriate country by pressing the ▲ or ▼ button. Press the ENTER button to confirm your choice. Even though you have changed the country setting in this menu, the country setting for Analogue TV is not changed. (Refer to page 11 of the user guide)

5. Press the ▲ or ▼ button again, to select "Auto Store". Press the ENTER button. When it has finished, the number of scanned services will be displayed. The existing favourite channel list will not be deleted when the channel list is updated. To stop the scan before it has finished, press the ENTER button with "STOP" selected.

6. Press the EXIT button to exit. If the signal status is poor, the "No Service found! Check the aerial connection" message is displayed. Check the aerial connection and the try the procedure again

My HWREN1 stopped working

I have found that the HWREN1 does not to auto channel. The E2000 Cisco router that I have came on "auto" channel selection which means that it will try to change channels to get the best signal. I set the router specifically to channel 5 (no one in the area was on it) and then had to set the HWREN1 by hand as well. Since then, I have had no further problems.

Problem: channel selection on router was "auto", changed now and then. HWREN1 does not appear to follow channel changes.

Solution: Set both to channel 5 manually.

No remote-

Have you bought a universal remote for the tv? That is what we had to do to get to av mode and when you do make sure you try the input button before settling with the first code that works. We stopped at the first code that changed the channels and still could not get into av mode. Finally I tried the rest of the codes and found the correct one. HOPE THIS HELPS
