SOURCE: I get F2 and SL code on my SUV M7 balboa spa pack

Hi there, it took awhile. but I managed to find what each of those codes mean. I'll write them below and with any luck, i've helped you get you your answer :).

F2=Which Filtration Cycle it's set to: 2hours per 12 Hour Cycle.

SL=In Sleep Mode, the heating temperature should stay within 20 degree's Fahrenheit only during Filtration Cycles. If this is not the case, the temperature is fluctuating and not current. The display will then show a solid "SL" in the display.

For further information, you can look at this mini manual here:
http://www.spacare.com/productimages/pdfmanuals/Balboa/Duplex_and_MiniOval_Ref.Pdf

And I found out where you can contact the people who do specific handling s to this filtration system, and they are located here:

About your product with info, listed here:

Hope this helps!

Balboa hot tub m7 wont power on at all

Either the spa is incorrectly wired or one of the fuses is blown in the spa pack. Typically this is due to your electrician wiring the spa incorrectly and blowing the fuse on accident.

Hi have problem with canadian spa (balboa mrspa1) control panel digital reading when turned on goes to OH,circulation pump will not run

OHS, OH, or SPA TEMP LMT Message There is an "Over Heated Spa" (OHS or OH) Water Condition.

One of the Water Temp Sensors has detected 110°F (43.3°C) Incoming Water Temp and Spa Functions are Disabled. System will Auto Reset when Water Temp is below 108°F (42.2°C). Check for Extended Pump Operation or High Ambient Temp, or contact your Dealer or Service Organization.

Spa Water Cool Down
• In order for the Spa Water Overheat Error Message to Automatically Reset and Clear, the Spa Water Must Cool to below 108°F (42.2°C).
• Check the Topside Panel Display to see if the "OHS", "OH", or "SPA TEMP LMT" Spa Water Overheat Error Message has Cleared. If the Error Message has Not Cleared, the Spa Water is still too Hot to Continue Testing.
• Either Wait for the Spa Water to Cool Below 108°F (42.2°C), or Exit Now and Retest at a Later time.

My hot tub pump will not stop running even after it has reached temperature and completed it's cycle. I have a Balboa Instruments control unit. Any suggestions?

sound like you have the filter cycle set to fc means filters all the time try to push temp button and then pump button. in sequence you want it to be f2 means filters 2hrs every 12 hours

When I change the temp. setting it keeps heating at original temp

The keypad appears to working correctly.

When you alter the set temperature via the keypad the display will flash the temperature thats to be acheived, once it stops flashing the keypad will revert back to the current temperature of the water.

Hope that helps,
Ian.
