Usually the rubber grommets under the turntable have gone hard with age so there is more noise from the motor

if you get error 61 it means check cd and exchange,or cd changer or at the most it could be the decoder board you could try jukeboxworld good site for manuals etc

The free play switch is only supposed to allow one selection on most Wurlitzers. If you email me the model number, I may be able to advise how to put it on continuous free play. My email address is email@example.com.
