First u install sound drivers if than also u not listen sound then,
chk the sound ic if ic heats then replace it

yes you can install another OS that task is called "DUAL BOOT"
how to make that??..
create a partition in your hard drive (e.g C: and E:)
when your done creating partition, install your first OS into C:
after installing...install your second OS to E:
thats all..,mwuah :D
