Makita 2800 r wont start

If there is a spark, then it's probably the timing, which is either, too far advanced, or retarded.
Good luck with that.

Makita G11oo portable generator. starts on choke. cuts off run

Just noticed your question... If you still need a little help:
1. If the gas is from last year, drain the tank and the carb bowl and replace gas with new. Visually inspect the inside of the tank ..be sure there's no sediment that needs to be cleaned out.
2. remove air cleaner and make sure it's not plugged or dirty
3. plug the spark plug and clean with spray carb cleaner.
4. At end of season, mix some gas stablizer in with the fuel to keep it from going bad while in storage.

Let me know how it goes..

Makita Generator suddenly stops has gas

Hi

Hi See if the gas tank cap vent is clogged, remove the cap and check the gasket in it.Check the flyweel key(not to be sheared) and the condenser( not to be defective). The ignition points(not to be burned).Check the oil in the crankcase(pay attention to the low-oil-level shutoff sistem (if there is one).Check the fuel lines and filter.Check the muffler(not to be clogged).Check the plug wires and make sure is securely attached at the sparkplug.Check the cable and linkage.
