Probably and easy to check. Remove the back and take a look. You will see a white plastic cover. The first video shows it.

Hi try to use a power module if you can (it's a risky situation "high voltage" or get a qualified personel) on the power issue turn it to 5 volts up to 7 volts while checking the functionality.

Could be many items but most likely the main video board needs updating or replacing. Google your model number and see if there is a software update that you need on your set.

Hello... The T CON board might be the problem. All T CONs use one half of the circuit to drive one half of the screen, and the other half to drive the other half of the screen. I have seen TVs with the whole screen "white-washed", and the T CON was bad. Of course, there is a possibility that the LCD panel is bad. T CONs are usually inexpensive, so it's worth trying.
