Question about Canon PIXMA MP230 Multifunction color photo Inkjet Printer
Please i need help,,,CANON MP230 SERIES, i have install and uninstall my printer's driver over and over again and this error keep occurring, i dont know what to do,,,its says; ''cannot communicate with scanner for these reasons: -scanner is turned off, -usb cable is disconnected, -printer is in use or error has occurred, please check and try again scanner driver will be close, Code 5,156,61'' Please i want somebody to help me with a solution that can stop this error, please?

You need to carefully clean the encoder strip. It's the clear strip behind the carriage that runs all the way from right to left. A damp Q-tip should remove any grease or fingerprints.
