Someone several years ago installed it in the interior of a living room and applied apoxy around the entire unit.
Are you sure it is not silicone sealant?
As far as that, take utility knife and cut around it, then you can get the unit out and work on getting the rest of it off the house.
If it is actually Epoxy, good god, You might need to replace anything on the house that is is connected to (if good epoxy) Head to your local hardware store for some Epoxy remover, but it often harms anything it touches, but it does work after soaking the heck out of it."
