Question about Dishwashers
If I pour water in the drain, it clears it fine, but otherwise is just running dry. Tried to reset the dw, but nothing happens. Turns off with the on/off switch but starts doing this when restarted. Checked drain, not blocked. Tried to reset by resetting circuit breaker, but it did not help. I think is saw error code c3, then it shows PO with the regular wash light in solid and the quick wash light blinking. Thanks for any hep you can provide.
Have you tried shutting off power to it from circuit breaker panel for about a minute and leave door open to dish washer . If that does not fix it the float Is stuck from grime build up . You can down load a maintenance manual online on how to access it and cleaning tips.

Testimonial: "Thanks for the advice. Your answer got me to the solution. I could not find a free technical manual, so I started searching for stuck float issue with my model Bosch and found an answer that worked. Removed the bottom face plate and reached in with paper towels to dry the plastic pan-two wells were found by reaching in from the top. Drying this up released the float, and it restarted correctly. I'm not sure yet if this was only a temporary or permanent fix, but it's a start. Thank you for getting me on the right path and for responding so quickly. I have always gotten accurate quick responses from FIXYA. THANK YOU!"

I just read this for the same problem: push sanitize, then heat and dry, sanitize, heat and dry, sanitize, heat and dry, cancel, then open and close the door. It worked. The dishwasher is running correctly even as I type this.

Try looking for slithers of glass etc under the impeller. Remove the sump covers (filters) and look into the bottom. There will probably be a small cover held down by a screw. Under this is the impeller. Roll up a hand towel into a cigarette shape and slide this under the impeller - that should clear anything out.

I had the same problem with a Hobart AM8 passthru dishwasher. The electrician determined that some of the wires had become exposed and were wet, thus shorting things out and tripping the breaker.
