There should be a black plastic cover over front top this should come off with only a few small screws 6mm size i think they are you should be able to see belt then it's only a matter of fishing new belt inside and over the motor end then hold clutch/tensioner Off back side of belt (use the handle bar) and loop belt over front pulley let go of tensioner (handle) replace cover and screws and you should be good to go

I have a Arvin console record player and the turntable will not turn model 80m46-14 how do I know if it is the belt or idler wheel

The turntable will need to be removed in order to carry out a visual check.
Mostly the process of removal isn't difficult as belts and idler wheel replacement is a fairly routine operation.

Mostly this can be done by removing an "E" clip from the centre spindle. The clip is often hidden by a piece of trim or a circular nameplate which must be removed to gain access.

I have a wheeled trimmer with broken belt?

Pretty simple, take bolts out that hold front gaurd on move it out of the way ther are two small pulleys that the belt passes through, take the 2 nits off that hold the pulleys on. Remember which pulley goes where as they are different. Put the new belt on, makin sure the v side of belt goes into v shaped pulley grooze and flat side of belt goes on flat pulley

More than likely the drive cable is broken. You will need to remove the engine from the handle/tube or remove the rotary trimmer spool to confirm.

How to remove the trimmer wheel to add more wire?

Hello,
In order to add more wire, remove trimmer head by removing center main screw. The whole cap will come off with a little of force towards the outside. Then you will put the string inside the channels dedicated to do this.
Thanks

Changing a dryer belt on a Maytag DE410

in some models you do it from the front the drum sits on 2 bogie wheels and the belt sits behind ,lift drum off bogie wheels and thread belt around pulley it should be on a spring tensioner and it allows you to swing pulley up or down try to thread belt around drum and replace drum back on bogie wheels.... in some dryers you may need to thread belt on drum and then onto pulley good luck

Take apart method to replace rubber drive belt.

I had the same dillema, till I discovered a soft spot on the label. They put one last screw there. I got the housing open and discovered the belt was broken. Ordered a new belt ($12.39) through ACE Hardware repair center, now I can't get the belt on. That is why I came to this site.
The Ace guy told me he has had lot of calls for this particular belt. If you order one, I suggest you order two.
Good luck.

Need to change tumble belt

REMEMBER TO UNPLUG BEFORE STARTING ANYTHING!

To do the belt...
1. UNPLUG the washer.
2. check you've unplugged.
3. Open the top of the machine - see the sides of the lid about 10 cm from front, remove plastic caps on each torx head, undo torx. (torx set required)
4. Remove concrete block from top - large spanner is required - remember the sequence so you can replace later.
5. Lean over the drum and see the large drive wheel.
If you see a broken belt then remove it and re-order one from hotpoint...see http://www.4hotpoint.co.uk/cgi-bin/product.pl?PID=634224&brand=&model=wd64&part=belt.

6. to replace belt - see motor shaft at bottom of unit. Dangle new belt round shaft of motor and gently pull so it does not come off motor.(This is not easy!)
7. At the same time Ease one side of the new belt back on to drive wheel on the back of the drum.
8. Turn Drive wheel until belt is on.(This is not easy and requires alot of hand strength)
9. Replace concrete block with bolt and spanner in reverse sequence you removed it.
10. replace lid, torx and cover for torx.

REMEMBER TO UNPLUG BEFORE STARTING ANYTHING!
- If the belt is not broken in your case - it could be the brushes on the motor - I can give you info on this if required!

Please dont forget to rate me as fixya.
