how long have you had your emachine? might not be able to adapt with the monitor, TV Product. some require gold lead, some metal, some plastic encased leads. if you have an owners manual it will give you that information under video card or monitor requirements. contact emachines if it is a new computer under warranty with technical support.

or it might even be as simple as a driver update. but i doubt it if its a new machine with windows 8 on it or even windows 7. these usually have the most up to date drivers and the windows update site keeps them that way unless you disabled auto updates.

Could be several reasons. Have you installed a video card or reloaded Windows or any other changes recently? Could just be disabled, or might be missing a driver or something. What display do you have it hooked to and is the display on the right input? Are you trying to use it as a second display or primary? Give us all the info you can.

Could be faulty component, If you've never used it before.
if you have then i could have burnt out. when connecting a cable to it did you make sure the cable was within specifications for the specific type of HDMI? some have special HD restrictions. some require gold lead input ends. you might be able to get a new HDMI port if your tech savvy enough to remove and soldier the component in yourself if not then I recommend you have a computer tech check it out it might even be something as simple as adding soldier to it if the board got hot from the wrong cable attachment and caused the soldier to flow and make the HDMI chip have a break in its communication.

How to get hdmi on emachines model w3611 without buying anything, is there a plugin inside?

No. The W3611 only has a VGA output on the motherboard. To add an HDMI port, you will need a video card. If you choose an internal card, the machine will probably need a better power supply (400W or higher). You will also need to remove the card that is currently in the PCI-e x16 slot (probably the Fax modem).

There are some external video adapters that connect to the USB port. Some have HDMI out. However, if you want to play games or moves, these are often not a good option. They are limited by the USB 2.0 port.

CNET gives the specifications for the W3611 here: http://reviews.cnet.com/desktops/emachines-w3611/4507-3118_7-32329686.html .

I hope this helps.

Computer do not reconize the tv using the hdmi

Did you take the remote from the tv and press Select Input so you can tell the tv where the video or what ever is coming from? Press Select Input then more than likely you will press HDMI and if you have more than one HDMI Port you have to tell it HDMI 1 or HDMI 2. Depending on your cables and ports sometimes you would just tell it PC or Computer, but if you see HDMI, select it as your Input source.

The video will show on most systems when youreboot without you having to do anything. Some systems will require you to hitthe FN (Function key) + F1 thru F12. Hold down the FN key then hit thecorrect key for displaying on the monitor (F1 thru F12). The correct keywill normally have CRT/LCD on it or it will have the icon of a display.

How to connect flat screen tv to emachine laptop

You simply have to look at the back of the television. There should be signs for every port in the back. For example: http://www.pioneer.co.uk/uk/images/products/plasmatv/pioneer/pdp436rxe_back.jpg
This link shows you the back of a television. Look just at the top of each port, you see INPUT 1, INPUT 2, INPUT 3 and so on. You have to look for one that says PC. You simply need to plug in the monitor cable to both the TV and the PC. Once that is done, you must change your TV input mode to PC. Take a look at this pic where I have highlighted the PC port on the TV. http://img821.imageshack.us/img821/9764/backbigi.jpg

In some cases, you can also use an HDMI cable to the television and from your pc, but it mainly depends on your computer's capability.

If you provide the model of the TV, I can show you where to plug in your cables. Either way you have it, via HDMI or the VGA Cable!

Where is hdmi hookup on emachines model el-1210-09

It's not a very good picture but, the HDMI port is below the VGA port, on the right of the S-video port and, just above the keyboard and mouse ports. It looks very much like a USB port but has angled sides and not rectagular. I'm guessing you'll get audio out of this with HDMI but, I wouldn't get my hopes up with a Nvidia chip. You may have to live with on board sound.

You can buy a converter like HDMI/VGA converter, VGA port is supported by almost all desktop. So check the manual and see what is the port specification of your LCD monitor and use a converter from any computer store or Ebay.
