Build up of dirt in tub making clothes dirty... How do I clean inside of machine?

If you use powder detergent ( clay carrier) the build up is from undissolved powder ( clay)
It forms cakes between the spin tub and the outer bowl
The fix is to pull the washer apart and physically remove the caked up mud from all parts of the machine
The prevention of future mud is to use liquid detergents rather than powders
It works like this powder detergents have a small percentage of actual detergent in use and that is dried onto a clay base as a transporter agent
In the wash , the detergent is released but the clay will not dissolve
Most is pumped out with each spin but a certain amount remains , dries and starts the dirt process through the clothes
With liquid detergents there is the same amount of actual detergent but the carrier is water and that is diluted in the spin and completely flushed away

Water not drane setisfewctori Cloth not dry

There are 2 possible reasons for this .The drain for the washer may be kinked at the back preventing the water being pumped out . The pump is virtually a water circulator and not a pressure pump so any obstruction will keep water in the washer.. Next --the spin cycle may be to slow for the water to be spun out of the clothes. Check the load is not above the recommended weight as this makes the spin cycle slow. IT is better to do 2 washes rather than to cram it all into 1 wash. Check the filter at the pump as they tend to block up with lint and other gunk from the clothes and the water may be unable to get to the pump Powdered detergents are 90% clay( fine as talc powder and used to carry the detergent) and this settles out in the lower parts of a machine so if you use powder I would recommend changing to liquid

Mayoclinic com MiraLax causes diarrhea.

You may want to add psyllium and/ or flax seed to your diet to get fiber and help sooth the intestines. Bentonite clay and slippery elm powder would be a great addition as well. Good luck.

My GE washer is leaving a brown oily residue inside the drum after washes.

I amj thinking that you use soap powder in your washing machine. If that is the case what you are expericing is the accumulated powder residue under the agitator breaking away and marking the clothes. Re move the agitator and clead all the gunk out of the machine including a water recycling(saver ) hoses. Washing powder is 90% clay that is used to carry the active ingredaient and is never completely flushed in the rinse cycle. Ity also cause a deteriation of the hoses and pumpseal. When you have cleaned out the machine I recommend you only use liquid detergents as they are more effective and don't leave the residue.

Can I use regular detergent with my high efficency Kenmore Elite?

using regular detergent for your HE4 kinda defeats it's purpose.. HE detergents are formulated so very little water is nessessary for it to do it's job and rinse completely.

you can use regular detergent if you absolutely have to.. but i recommend liquid and very little of it. using powder might get you white clay-like stuff stuck on your clothing.
