Question about Samsung SGH-E900 Cellular Phone
Phone has not been dropped or damaged but screen went white when I rec'd a txt. now just stays white?
There are two possible problems and two fixes for this white screen.
First it could be a damaged ribbon connecting your screen to the handset. This is the most common reason for the white screen.
You can buy ribbons and attempt the repair yourself (instructions are available on the net) or you can take it to a shop and they will fix it for you.
Second possible cause (which happened to me when my phone fell in the toilet) the firmware on your phone has been damaged.
Again this can be fixed by yourself (info available on the net) with the right tools (the option i used) or again a repair shop will fix it for you.
Either way your phone is not broken, just damaged and can be fixed.
