Its a dell 330 optiplex at 1st splash screen it blinks something about the boot up. It flashes so quick that I can't tell what it says. In msconfig there is no boot order at all. It is not recognizing any operating system, and also says partition not found!

When you turn on the power, start pressing the F2 key. This should bring up the BIOS screen that will allow you to see what the settings are for the computer hardware. Make sure that you check the date and time because this is an indication that the battery in the computer is dead. If the date and time are correct, then look for the screen that shows the hard disk drives. If none is shown, then it be an indication that the hard drive has failed. IF the drive is shown, then you can look for the screen that shows the boot device order. Usually the CD drive is listed first and then the hard drive.
If you did not change the boot order or any of the settings in here before this happened AND the battery is not dead, THE HARD DRIVE has most likely failed.

Overclocking in bios made desktop crash.

clear the bios - locate the little 3-pin jumper labeled with "CLR" or simmilar next to the bios chip/battery. short circuit the free pin with the one next to it (yiou will need to use the jumper that is on there). once you have kept it on for 10 seconds - put it back in to original position and configure your bios (time settings, boot device,...)

if you can't find the jumper or you think it's too complicated - unplug your pc from power and remove the bios battery. after 30 minutes install the battery as it was and configure your bios (time settings, boot device,...)

Computer fails to boot. searching for either hard

These pins are referred to as "jumpers". Each manufacturer can have their own jumper settings. Each device should have letters indicating which pins correspond to master, slave, or cable select. The best method to insure operation is to use the cable select (CS) jumper setting. Using this setting, the hardware will be automatically configured.

Can't bootup my EMachines T3882

if you can't get into the bios, you can't start a repair, when it's booting, continually press F2 to get the bios up, if that does nothing reboot an continualy press Del, this is for the bios menu and set the cd drive as first boot device.

If not continually press F8 on boot up this is safe mode, then when youre in highlight last known good configuration and press Enter.

Give this a try as your pc will not be set to boot from cdrom as default and will just try to boot into windows.

Based on the information that you gave us...You can't access your BIOS for reconfiguration. To go to BIOS settings, try to press DEL or F2 button when you see the LOGO of the manufacturer.. Then change its Boot Sequence: 1st Boot - Optical Drive..2nd Boot- Floppy (if there's one) and 3rd Boot - Hard Drive. If your BIOS is protected then you need to shutdown your computer, 1. remove the powercable, 2. open your Desktop CPU, 3. look for the CR2032 Button battery, 4. locate the jumper near this Battery with CLEAR CMOS label. 5. change the setting of this jumper by removing the jumper and mount it on the other setting. Maintain for 5 seconds and then remove it back from its original setting.. Note: dont forget the original setting of this CLEAR CMOS jumper. Also never to POWER ON your Desktop while the jumper is at CLEAR CMOS setting. This will destroy your motherboard. 6. Connect the power cables and power ON your Desktop and you will encounter an error on BIOS setting. press DEL button or F2 to configure BIOS. 7. Then change BOOT SEQUENCE of your Desktop to boot to Optical Drive or CDROM first and then press F10 to Save and Exit. ..................... Check your keyboard if its working well otherwise get a GOOD Known keyboard or a new one.
