SOURCE: I have an encore zero

In your mower the transmission is hydraulic: the motor turns a pulley which turns the belt, which turns another pulley, attached to a hydraulic pump which generates pressure that goes to a set of control valves that send the appropriate amount in the appropriate way to a set of hydraulic motors to which the wheels are attached.
If the mower doesn't moves at all then something is wrong with the hydraulic pump: it's not powered or ***'s turned in the wrong direction because the belt was improperly installed, or the hydraulic lines were damaged when the belt snapped.
Lift the mower and inspect the belt and all the other components. This parts manual will help you with that

If something appears out of place or damaged - replace it.

Troy-bilt riding mower won't move in forward or reverse

I had a similar problem with my TroyBilt 50 inch zero turn mower. Was cutting grass when it stopped going either forward or backward even though it would start and the PTO would move the cutting blades. Turned out the tensioner spring for the belt that drives the motors near the rear wheels had gone missing. Searched the yard where I had cut and moved the machine but couldn't find it. A new one cost me about $7.50. Put the new one on and it worked fine.
