Fire department says it is leaking at pressure switch, does this unit have a unloader valve and a check valve?

It would have to have a check valve and a unloader valve or it could not start again with any air pressure in the tank. The unloader is in the limit switch, should see a small plastic air line going into the limit switch, when the limit switch shuts off the electric motor it drains the pressure in the cylinder so there is no load on the compressor so it can start, so if there is air coming out of the unloader when the electric motor is shut off it is the check valve if it is coming out all the time even with the motor running it is the unloader in the limit switch.

Compressor UP6 25 125, runs all the time but is only under load for a short time, should it shut down between loads?

This unit will shut down if unloaded for a set period of time. Usually 5 to 10 minutes. This time could be longer if some one has changed it from the factory setting. There is a timer in the control box that starts counting down when the unit unloads. If it stays unloaded long enough for the timer to count down the unit will stop until the air pressure drops to the low set point on the pressure switch. It will then start up. If the unit loads before the counter counts down the timer starts from the beginning when it unloads again. This cycle continues until you manually shut it down or you stop using air long enough for the timer to reach Zero and shut down.

I get E-01 error of my cd changer

The fault is actually inside the CD changer, when one disc is selected the changer moves the gearing inside to slot from one CD to the other.
While this operation is happening the selection arm jams !!
Then giving an error at the radio display..

To fix the problem, disconnect the CD changer from the trunk of the car,
take off the top plastic slide cover,
with a small screwdriver slowly move the gearing so that the CD disc holder will move back to the load - unload position.

Pop out the CD holder.

Replace unit, reconnect the optic and power lead, switch on radio and the unit will work again,

grease the moving parts with light lubricant

Good Luck

Sony CDX-626 10 disc compact disc changer will not load and play selected disc. It loads and unloads disc #1 then loads and unloads disc #2 and so on loading and unloading discs but not playing any

It needs a new optical eye, also called laser eye. It's probably close to $100 total to replace, but I haven't worked on them in 10+ years so you may want to call an electronic shop anywhere and they should be able to give you a pretty good estimate if you ask specifically for that part change/repair.Greg

Switches off for no apparent reason. Can't see an 'on' button. Can only get it going again by loading and unloading a CD,

To switch the unit on you normally have to press the source button, and too turn it off you press and hold the source button

you may have to open the unit up and manually turn the unload and load gear to eject the DVD from the carriage. The load and unload gear is a round gear located under the DVD carriage and is attached to the load and unload motor
