Pull the wand apart, remove old batteries, insert the new batteries in the proper configuration, put the two pieces of wand back together. Viola!

I think some of you have it mixed up... this is the Pro Styler, a sort of powered stick that has interchangable heads (one for shaving, another with a guard & the one that comes installed on it for 'styling", i.e. trimming up sideburns, etc).

Anyone have a better idea? I can't seem to remove the styler & I'm actually sitting here with a face full of shaving cream as I wanted to try out the shaving portion of this rig.

It may simply not work

The top of the gas hair drier is simply screwed off (under the green button), ant-clockwise. The battery is a camera battery a Varta 625U. The battery must placed with the positive + side upwards and screw back on the top.
