  1. The original factory code is 1-5-9 A (or B) to open the safe. There is usually an override key for your safe in case you have lost your code.
  2. Once the unit is open, you can reset the combination by pressing the red button, the yellow light will come on. Input a new code 3-8 numbers and then either the A or B button to finish the code.
  3. Test your new code several times before locking.
  4. If you don't have an over ride key, the first three digits of the serial number should be the key code.

Question
QUESTION: Hi. I have just bought a caravan with a kingavon electronic safe 27 installed in it.Dealer didn't know it was there and has no information on it. The door is open and i have bought new batteries how do i re set it as it would be nice to be able to use it. thank you for your time reading this note. Please help if you can.

ANSWER: Marie

These are imported safes - Kingavon is not a manufacture, they are a distributor of "stuff", they just have the safes "LABELED" with their name.

If your safe is similar to the ones I've seen, the original factory code is 1-5-9 A (or B) to open the safe. There is usually an override key for your safe incase you have lost your code.

Once the unit is open, you can reset the combination by pressing the red button, the yellow light will come on. Input a new code 3-8 numbers and then either the A or B button to finish the code.
Test your new code several times before locking.

If you don't have an over ride key, the first three digits of the serial number should be the key code.

You may want to send me a photo of your safe, to ensure we are talking about the same safe. andy@securitysafeusa.com

NOTE: Electronics change on a month to month basis, so the lock may not be the same as the ones I've seen.

Andy
