There are 2 basic versions of the Gigabyte GA-8I865GVMK motherboard; Socket 775 & 478. The socket 775 has 2 versions (Rev. 1.0 & Rev. 1.1) Please be reminded that drivers are very OS specific and must conform to the model/version and revision of the particular motherboard.
GA-8I865GVMK-775 (Rev 1.0)
GA-8I865GVMK-775 (Rev 1.1)
Hope this be of some help/idea. Post back how things turned out or should you need additional information.
Good luck and kind regards.

The chances are that you have an old motherboard which is not compatable with the new graphic card. Or you may be running windows 98 and are downloading the driver for xp or visa versa. The probable solution, will be to sell the new card on ebay and buy the best old card you can off ebay. Or just make do with the card you already had in your computer. If you are determined to have a better graphics card. A motherboard upgrade with better graphic card may be the best answer or buy a better spec pc second hand if you don't have much money. You'll probably waiste a lot of time trying to get the new card to work and it probably never will.

You have 2 choices. 1. Call Intel tech support & see if they can find a solution for you or 2. Install a standalone ethernet/wireless card, depending on your setup and disable onboard LAN. I had to go the 2nd route as my onboard LAN wass not compatible with Windows Vista. Hope this helps.

Hi there is a peice of software that you can download.Do a search for Belarc and opt for the free version form the website. When installed it gives you a list of virtually everything on your system, including the key for your operating system and any other software.when viewing the results, look at the part that says MAIN CIRCUIT BOARD.Then go to the manufacturers website and download the appropriate drivers. I hope this helps you.
