Question about Polaroid Z2300 Instant Digital Camera White

Open Question

I wish to contact via email to discuss a camera purchase I am not happy with.

I have purchased a Polaroid Z2300 White Digital Camera from an American distributor. The item was shipped to me on the 13/3/2014 and I received the camera between the dates of 24/3/2014 and the 26/3/2014 I was also issued a year warranty with said camera. I am not happy with this camera as it was not what I was really looking for in a camera, I was unhappy with the size and quality of the photos being a digital camera I thought the pictures would have been of a better quality. I also have a Instax camera and to be perfectly honest it in fact takes better pictures. I have always loved polaroid cameras and have used them for many years that being the style of the Vintage Cameras that are now available. I have had the camera for such a short period of time and I have found that I have been really unhappy with the quality of the photographs at least 85% to 90% being bad. It was bought for me by my husband for my birthday and wedding anniversary I was so excited about the camera and could not wait to use it.. Now the problem that I have is I live in Australia and the camera was purchased from America via ebay. I understand that I got the camera a little cheaper at $200.00 plus postage costs, but when you convert the price of the camera into American dollars it is not that much cheaper considering I have a warranty that is not applicable in Australia which is just another blow to me. I have used two and half packets of film in the camera and the pictures are not as great as I would have expected from a Polaroid digital camera. I have changed settings many times as per user manual and still I was getting some really great pictures then some very bad pictures before I use anything like cameras I read everything about them and always read the user manual and follow the instructions I am given. Now the Camera is sitting in the box it came in, not being used and for a pretty much brand new camera it is such a disappointment to me as we are a one income family I am just shattered, because even the little money we saved was to much for something that will not be used. OK now my problem or my question is I was wondering that I have the warranty and the camera is virtually brand new would it be possible to exchange the Z2300 White Digital Camera for another camera of even lesser value, as I want to stick with Polaroid I would be happy to have an instant camera of lesser value as I would like to remain a customer of Polaroid International. If this is even remotely possible would you please advise me as I have said what is the good of a warranty that you are unable to use not to mention that you will always have a grateful, loyal customer in me for many years to come. Please consider this as I would be very grateful and happy with anything you find in your hearts to help me with this problem. Kind Regards Bronwyn Belanger. I also have the receipt form the store it was purchased from and they advised me that you as a company are very good to deal with.

SOURCE: pictures have brown instead of color look, why

You have a bad film pack. Replacing the film pack with a new one should fix the problem. Nothing in the camera can change the color of a picture. The camera can over expose pictures (wash out the picture), under expose pictures (dark pictures), or the picture can be out of focus (blurry).

Possible you got a bad film cassette. In the original Polaroid camera packs they had batteries which actually powered the whole camera. The batteries may be dead or not have much charge in them. They are good for a couple years and as you indicate the expiration is up in another month... Good luck

The battery in the film pack may be dead, or the camera is broken. Take the film pack out and replace it. If the camera does not reset then the camera is gone.

SOURCE: Im a newbie when it

What kind of camera, and film, did you buy? Polaroid discontinued production of film in 2006, and the only remaining film is old stock, or available from the impossible project. There are other types of film available, but not compatable with all types of polaroid cameras. This information will have a HUGE impact on the solution to your problem.

1) Type of camera (not just Polaroid, they made HUNDREDS of models)
2) Type/Size/Brand of film

Can i use my plug for the computer to charge my camera? if so how? its not working!

Sorry, but the USB cable is only for downloading photos to the computer, and the 300 series cameras do not have an on-board charging function. If you wish to use rechargeable batteries (Polaroid recommends Ni-MH type only) you must purchase and use an external charger. Inexpensive generic chargers can be purchased in the electronics department of most stores.

My polaroid camera i835dosent show images when switched on either on camera or vidieo screen is blank model no ciu00835B Thanks

If you are seeing a completely white or blank screen, the internal lens has failed. Remember, Polaroid has a 1 yr warranty from date of purchase. If you don't have the receipt, they can possibly use the serial # from the camera. Go to their website for tech support
