SOURCE: removing rear wiper arm 1992 grand caravan

If this is a factory wiper arm look at the area where it hinges. There should be a small hole in the metal. Find a drill bit or shaft that fits the hole. Lift up on the arm, insert the drill bit. When you release the arm it should be raised of the glass supported by the drill bit. Now without pressure applied to the glass you should be able to wiggle it off the shaft of the motor. Hope that helps.

SOURCE: We have hard water deposits on the pump and motor not cleaning

Without a model number, or even a brand / manufacturer, it is nearly impossible to tell you how your product comes apart. Many brands have a screw (often times with left hand threads) holding the spray arm on, while others may come off by just lifting on the spray arm while turning it CCW, or might have locking clips which need to be released.
In any case, before going that far, go to a hardware, appliance parts, or possibly grocery store to find a product called Dishwasher Magic. It is in a small rectangular bottle. Use that as directed in a cycle to clean out your dishwasher. The spray arms may need to be cleaned out of blockage from candy wrapers, toothpicks, seeds, etc., or possibly even replaced if unable to fully clean out. Also, dishwashers will not clean very well if you are using hard water. I'd suggest looking into installing a water softener.

SOURCE: 87 sable will not start

Alcohol can do it, if you have time to wait. If you don't want to wait, put about a tablespoon of Dawn dish soap in a small amount of gasoline, about a quart, and mix well. Pour in tank. If you have ice in the fuel system you'll have to thaw it, but the dish soap will pick it up once it thaws and the motor is running. You may have trouble with a plugged fuel filter or two and you may not, depends on how much dirt the dish soap picks up.

It's all about making oil and water mix, like when you're washing dishes.

Fuel injection pump problem

the only way for water to get into the pump is from water in the diesel
clean/drain the water separator( if it doesn't have one then fit one in the supply line)
drain /clean out the fuel tank
use a diesel fuel conditioner
always fill the tank to reduce condensation when not in use for periods of time
you cannot pull the pump apart as it has to be reassembled and calibrated on a special test bench by an accredited diesel specialist
best if you discuss the reconditioning or service exchange of the pump after removing all of the water from the system with a specialist diesel shop

97 ford 4.0 sohc runs rough has power changed plugs wires thinking maybe egr vavle

timing or bad fuel or head gasket will cause this .
take off radiator cap & run the motor if it blows out coolant when you pump the fuel pedal in the car its head gasket you may need two people if you don't have a rubber neck to look out the window if that's ok try the fuel water in fuel will do this to mix in some mentholated sprits (metho) to the fuel tank 1 litter to a full tank of fuel the metho will mix with the water and burn off when it enters the piston chamber ( try this in a glass of water 1st if your sceptical ) .
or use a fuel cleaner from your local auto shop
good luck

My 1998 GMC jimmy won't start without starter fluid sprayed in the air intake on top of the motor.a small sprits and she starts right up.what do i need to prevent that everytime startup issue.

Your fuel pump isn't putting out enough gas to turn over motor it needs over 14lbs per square inch of pressure to start even though it only needs 12 to keep running. you will have to replace fuel pump.get acdelco and you ill never have to replace again.

New plug, fresh fuel and new oil, statrts but when auger engages snow it stalls?

I would suggest you pull the carb off and clean it with mineral sprits or some other cleaning solution and blow it out with air and try it.if that don,t work you should replace it with a new one.

I have a Yamaha TTR 225 four stroke that is having engine problems. When trying to start the dirt bike a fine mist of starting fluid must be administered to the carburator or else it will shut off within...

If it is a fuel delivery problem, I would start by pulling the gas tank, dumping it out then pulling the petcock on the bottom of the tank and clean the pre-filter with compressed air. Next, pull the carb and take it apart - they are fairly simple and you can get into it without needing to buy any parts. It's possible there is just water or other junk in there that needs to be removed. Clean it really well and put it all back together with fresh fuel and a clean air filter and try it again.

It's also a possibility that your engine compression is low. These things need new rings every once in a while. Keep in mind I know nothing about the age or condition of this bike.

How do I clean the carb on my Lawn Mower

Without completely removing the carb you can just start the engine and squirt carb cleaner in it after removing the air filter. If it needs additional cleaning(float sticking, dirt in the bowl, gas overflow etc.) you'll have to pull it from the motor and take it apart.

Put atv in water

If it is what I think it is, drain the whole motor. Oil, coolant, fuel, all of it take the plugs out and once the motor is clean, dry fire the motor (turn the key or use the pull cord) without the plugs in and that should get most of the water out of the cylinders.

Go through the electrical system and check for shorts, bad fuses and your battery, if there is one, should be changed

Motor-Pump Drive assembly is defective.Hey while you have this machine apart pull the drain pump off and look for a jammed flap,it's rare but check it anyway.(to remove the drain pump just twist it and pull it off). For the non believer's out there ,this will be a learning experience. You will NOT resolve this "not clean dish" problem unless the Motor -Pump assembly is replaced with the one they now make that works. THIS to some repairman was called POWER DRIVE ASSEMBLY. Quick note: motor - pump does NOT include the drain pump.Think about that for awhile.Any way the drain pump will not be the problem, the Motor-Pump is!
