Mitsubishi WS-55819 Power Loss error message. Help needed please

Hi, I have Mitsubishi WS-55819. When ever i turn it on it says Power Loss.Please Reset Time. Now i tried resetting time from auto to manual and put correct date and time but still when ever i turn it on it says the same message. Although, it works fine after i hit input couple times to get back to channels. But its really annoying. Can anyone please help me with this. Thank You! I greatly appreciate your help.

Sounds like a problem with the standby power supplies is losing the standby which acts as if the TV had been unplugged. I would check the stand by power supplies

It could just be the solder on the convergence ICs which needs to be reflowed. If that doesnt help then the ICs will need replacement. Your model uses 2 of the STK392-570 ICs. If you need further assistance please let me know.

try the self test: when it goes off press and hold the menu and input buttons at same time for about seven seconds and release both.

power light blinks two digit code like, one blink, two blink, a pause and repeats it several times, this code will indicate area of problem.

code stands for loss of vertical. I had one of these if you can check pico fuses, check the ones on the main power board the one with the 2 convergence amps if any of them are blown then most likely the convergence amps have shorted out.

No, that'll do it. Once you've changed em you'll know right away if somethin isn't right. But take faith and fire that puppy up. If the pix is good you did good. If something is amiss. I'd be happy to walk you through it. My money is on you though.

Code 22 indicates that your set is in shut down due to what is called Short Protect. The most likely cause is the Converge Ic's drawing too much current and opening one or 2 fuses. Normal repair cost varies by area and servicer. Expect 250 to 350 plus the service call. I normally do this on site.

Convergence ICs are bad need to be replaced. You will need to replace both of them also check the resistors right next to the IC often 1 or 2 of them burn out when the IC goes.
