Question about GoVideo DV2130 DVD Player/VCR
The most common problem is that ur dvd lense would have gone faulty. u should first clean the lense of ur player. To locate the laser lens, look around the door or drawer of the DVD player and you will see a small circular disc, which is often called the turntable or disc platter....
Memorex makes a disc cleaner that uses brushes. Assuming that most hardware should just have dust and shouldn't really need solvents, this should be adequate.
or u can use isoproponol alcohol on a cotton bud,one wipe with the slightly damp end then a quick wipe with the dry end
if ur lense cleaning solution didnt solve ur problem means u can try this alternate solution also the head has lost it's "tracking" over the years (DVD players sadly do not last forever).u can purchase a new head.
i have given u the possible solutions if nothing seems to be working for u. just u can move on with ur new dvd unit. it will be a perfect move by u...
