Saw starts runs good then when i start cutting it

Hi Jason:
Make and model might help but here's two ideas:
1) Remove muffler and clean it. They can get plugged up with carbon and the saw will run at low RPM but will quit because of excess back pressure when you try to rev it up.
2) Set the high and low speed carb settings. Start the saw then gradually increase engine speed until full throttle. Screw the hi-speed needle in slowly. If RPM immediately drops, back it out until Rpm increases, then starts to drop. Screw back in until peak rpm reached, then starts to drop. Back out to peak, then 1/3 turn more.
Set low speed so engine runs smoothly but chain does not turn.
Hope this helps.

Air screws 600 katana how many turns?

Back the screw out a quarter of an inch. That is your starting point. After you do that with the bike running slowly back the screw out until it starts running good, then keep turning it until it starts to run bad again then stop and turn it back in 1/4 of an inch and you should have your optimal setting.

Starting a 2002 Dodge Neon in extremely cold weather

The best is to turn the key on to the run position for a few seconds then back off then back to run and then start. This cycles the fuel pump and sends a good supply of fuel up to the injectors. Also do not rev the engine excessively until it has warmed up to allow oil to flow good.
Good luck, dont forget to rate.

Bad fan motor I suspect The windings are bad causing the motor to over heat sending the motor into thermal overload. would suggest the replacement of motor. Good Luck on repairs

Won't start. i changed spark plug and cleaned carb. it was starting but running at half speed. then it just quit and won't start at all now

Hi,
You might want to try adjusting the carb. Remove the two caps on the screws and turn each screw in 1/2 turn. Then try to start. If it starts then you are good to go. If not try turning in a little more. Once you get it started you might need to back the screw back out a little to get the unit to run "smoothly" once done just put the caps back on or discard (you don't need them.
Good luck!
Mike
