Techwood home subwoofer model psw112 fuse and fuse cap or holder

Unless the same type is found the fuse cannot be fixed into the holder. So it isbest to get this sample to the nearest electronic store and check out th ereplacement type availabe and if the alternative fits the provision.
Othere wise you can solder a fuse wire of the same rating internally to get the set connected.

Where can I replace a fuse holder for a pmp 3000. Is this mixer the worst piece of **** mor what. Seems all they do is malfunction.

moz-screenshot-2.pngBuy this kind pf fuse holder is very easy to install. But rememnber you have to desolder the old one, solder extension wire to the board and to the new fuse holder. Make sure the new fuse holder meets the standard of the old one. And of course can hold the right fuse for your machine.

Fuse keeps melting

yes this can be repaired and no you wouldn't have to have an external fuse. What you need to do is first find someone that is good with a soldering iron. Next open the amplifier and look at the area where the fuse holder is located. You want to make sure that the area is clean and that the board is not damaged. To make sure that the area is clean well take some regular rubbing alcohol, 70% or higher, and a small paint brush put the brush in the alcohol and clean the area that was causing the problem regardless if there is any debris or not. This not only cleans the area but also prepares it for the solder job that is to come. Next take your soldering iron out apply solder wick to the board and remove all the old solder on the board. Make sure that you do not lift the pads that the connections are soldered to. after you have removed all the old solder from both the board and the fuse holder place the fuse holder into the slots where it belongs and apply some flux and fresh solder to the area. this will take no time to cool. be careful not to burn the board. After that has all been done put the amplifier back together and test it out. You should not have any problems after that.

One side of brake and rear side lights are out on

it could be the bulb holder. remove the bulb and clean the connections when the bulb would fit some times they will need lifting back up, as bulb solder ends are different sizes due to solder ends. you can lift these up a bit, clean any white res on the connection,. even the earth side of the bulb holder ( the ring the bulb fits in). you can even check the connection to the unit where the wiring connects.these could need a good clean. if all this done not work it could be the bulb so check the bulb first, you can test the bulb with a 9v battery square type or a wire and connect the bulb bottom pole on the live if the battery and connect the negative to the negative on the bulb. using the wire. hope this helps.

Subwoofer fuse 'holder' missing.

tape or solder a piece of metal across where the fuze and holder would go.
go to radio shack, pick up a small cartridge style fuze holder and an appropriate replacement fuze. (if you dont have the original fuze, dont bother with this method) Open the box or case to gain access to the circuit board. solder a new holder to the contacts.

Be aware that I have no clue what the fuze holder on that particular model looks like.

Black and decker air station won 't work

My Air Station blew a fuse also. The fuse that came with the inflator may be a bit too small amperage wise so I stepped up to .25 Amps more which is just a very small increase.

It is really ill advise to solder a wire in the place of a fuse. You are just asking for it.

The way I did it is I went to my local Radio Shack and got a small fuse holder with red leads and 1.5 Amp fuses. I soldered the fuse holder in place with the new fuse. And now I don't have to deal with any more solder. Just twist the fuse holder, take out the burnt out fuse and replace it with a new one. And wahlah. I'm back in business again.

Fans not working

I had the same problem as other bloggers--temp would not decrease and fan did not run. . . as suggested by others, I replaced the 5A heat-shrink wrapped fuse in upper left corner of circuit board (fuse is covered in black heat shrink wrap and is in a U-shape). I unsoldered the two ends of the fuse on the circuit board (be sure you locate the correct two holes) and then replaced it with two parts from Radio Shack--a 5x20mm Inline Fuse Holder rated at 250V AC, 5A (part # 270-1238) and used a 6.3A slow-blow 250V fuse (part # 270-1066). Now the wine Refir works great!

To replace the part take all the screws off the sheet metal covering on the back of the refrigerator. Remove the circuit board from the plastic holder. I left all the wires plugged in and just unsoldered the fuse with the circuit board still connected--but to solder you will need an extra pair of hands to hold the board while you solder.

If you don't have it, get some silver solder while at Radio Shack and a thin, needle-point soldering iron tip. Radio shack has 30W soldering irons for less than $10. You really don't need soldering experience--just a steady hand. Even if you have none of these parts your total outlay at RadioShack is less than $25 for everything.
