Hello: 442 concern the evap system. It means you have a small leak. The most common item would be a gas cap that is not fully tight or the seal on the cap is dry and not sealing good. Try tightening the cap first, then get the code cleared and see if it comes back.
Error 442 - Failed to enable virtual adapter. No fix yet from Cisco. Try this work around. Run cmd as Administrator and execute the following command: reg add HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\Tcpip\Parameters /v ArpRetryCount /t REG_DWORD /d 0 /f
232-A communication failure has occurred between the two machines. 327-*Reattempt the fax reception at a different time when telephone line conditions have improved. Call the telephone provider if line conditions fail to improve. 356-The remote user has pressed the Stop key, causing the session to be aborted. 442-An error occurred during transmission after one or more partial pages had been sent. The transmitting machine was unable to restart the control channel (handshaking) before sending more data. This error typically occurs when the receiving fax disconnects after receiving part of a page but can also occur if the receiving fax is using a fax format that is incompatible with the HP fax machine (usually during color faxing).
Could be the gas cap. Do you fill the tank with the engine running?
Otherwise, check the hoses near the Evap canister. I have 2003 T&C and had the small leak and large leak codes. I looked at the evap cansiter and the hose coming from the fuel tank vapor line had a huge crack in it, to the point it had fallen off the evap caniser. I trimmed the end of the hose and reconnected and voila, no codes.
The evap canister is on the driver's side of the van, underneath, slightly behind the drivers seat.
BTW, to clear the codes without an OBDII reader, remove the negative cable for 5-10 minutes (15 to be safe). The computer resets and clears the codes, except for one that it sets saying loss of power to the memory.
